The First Prize for Collaborative Innovation Achievements in Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation in China in 2019

On December 29, 2019, the 13th China Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Innovation Conference was held at the Beijing Conference Center.
The project “Key Technology Research and Application Promotion of Precision Resection of Bone Tumors and Personalized Reconstruction of Bone Joints Based on 3D Printing Technology,” a collaboration between the Ninth People’s Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Suzhou Kangli Orthopedic Instruments Co., Ltd., and THYTEC SHANGHAI CO.,LTD, was awarded the First Prize of the 2019 China Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award.
Professor Hao Yongqiang from Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, Mr. Cao Gang, Vice General Manager of Suzhou Kangli, and General Manager of THYTEC SHANGHAI, attended the conference and participated in the award ceremony.
The China Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Promotion Association was established in November 2007. It was approved by the State Council and jointly founded by relevant departments such as the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the China Association for Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and the China Development Bank, as well as a group of universities, research institutes, central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, and private enterprises. It is a national social organization that promotes cross-sector, cross-regional, cross-industry, and interdisciplinary collaboration between industry, academia, research, government, finance, media, and other sectors. It serves as a platform for integrated resources and collaborative innovation services, with its supervisory unit being the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. The association is a member of the China Association for Science and Technology.
The mission of the association is to promote the construction of the national innovation system, accelerate regional economic innovation and development, enhance the independent innovation capabilities of enterprises, integrate innovation resources, establish collaborative innovation platforms for industry, academia, research, government, and finance, explore new models, mechanisms, methods, and approaches for industry-academia-research cooperation, strengthen the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, and contribute to the construction of an innovative country and a world-leading science and technology power.
