Xenogeneic and bovine-bone biomaterials, extending the group into regenerative bone products.
Formally established in 2002 on the manufacturing foundation laid by its predecessor, Suzhou Kangli Orthopaedics Instrument Co., Ltd. — known internationally as Kangli Orthopaedics — manufactures orthopaedic implants and surgical instruments in Suzhou, China.
From our early beginnings in Zhangjiagang to our operations in Suzhou today, Kangli has grown through a commitment to precision, continuous improvement, and long-term working relationships. We now serve customers in China and international markets through OEM, ODM, and OBM services.
Our work spans the orthopaedic field — trauma, spine, craniomaxillofacial, foot and ankle, thoracic, and pediatric — and all of it is manufactured on one campus, under one quality system.
Three minutes across the campus — design, machining, and quality control.
Subsidiaries extend our manufacturing across biomaterials, instruments, and disposables.

Single-use surgical instruments — puncture needles, irrigation guns, and bone-cement injectors.
Kangli serves customers in China and international markets through direct collaboration and distribution partnerships. Our domestic sales network reaches approximately 25 provincial-level regions.
We build long-term relationships with customers worldwide on responsive communication, reliable manufacturing, and collaboration shaped by each market's needs.
Eight chapters — from Zhangjiagang to digital orthopaedics.
Kangli's story began in a small warehouse in Zhangjiagang. Through craftsmanship, perseverance, and a long-term commitment to orthopaedics, that early foundation grew into Suzhou Kangli Orthopaedics Instrument Co., Ltd.
Kangli's predecessor began operations in Zhangjiagang, in a single modest warehouse. Those formative years established the entrepreneurial spirit, manufacturing foundation, and commitment to quality that still shape Kangli today.
Suzhou Kangli Orthopaedics Instrument Co., Ltd. was formally established in 2002. Kangli introduced its first Haas machining centre from the United States and a Citizen CNC turning centre from Japan — a decisive step towards high-precision orthopaedic manufacturing.
Continued investment expanded machining and automated turning capacity, giving Kangli a more robust platform for consistent quality, improved efficiency, and ongoing product development.
Selected products completed applicable U.S. FDA registration processes. Kangli introduced 3D printing equipment, established a Jiangsu Provincial Graduate Student Workstation, and was recognised as a Jiangsu Provincial High-Tech Enterprise.
Kangli integrated new technologies, expanded its orthopaedic portfolio, and gradually entered international markets, including the United States and Europe, building long-term relationships through reliable manufacturing and responsive cooperation.
Building on its experience in precision manufacturing and 3D printing, Kangli strengthened its capabilities in additive manufacturing and personalised, patient-specific design.
Kangli's 3D printing work expanded into the development of 3D-printed artificial joint products — an important milestone in its pursuit of personalised orthopaedic innovation.
Kangli works with hospitals and clinical partners on practical digital orthopaedic tools — patient-specific 3D-printed surgical guides and anatomically accurate bone models that turn CT and MRI data into physical references for personalised pre-operative planning.
Commitments beyond the factory floor.
At Kangli Orthopaedics, long-term success rests on responsibility — to our employees, our communities, our partners, and the patients our products ultimately reach.

A supportive workplace built through employee engagement, wellness activities, and team events that encourage collaboration and a healthy work-life balance.

In 2013 and 2015, Kangli helped establish Kangli Hope Primary Schools in Xinyang (Henan) and Anyue (Sichuan), improving educational opportunities for local children.

Following the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008 and the Ya'an earthquake in 2013, Kangli donated surgical instruments to support local medical relief and recovery efforts.
As a manufacturer of orthopaedic medical devices, our most important responsibility is to uphold quality, safety, and reliability in every product we deliver.
