Legal & Privacy Notice

Last updatedAugust 2026

This notice covers two things: the terms and disclaimers that apply to the information published on this site, and how we handle the limited personal data it receives. The site is static and informational — no tracking cookies, no advertising pixels, no user accounts.

This notice governs your use of the Kangli Orthopaedics website. It sets out the basis on which we publish the information here, the limits of that information, and how we handle the small amount of personal data the site receives. By using this website, you accept the terms below.

Who we are

Suzhou Kangli Orthopaedics Instrument Co., Ltd. (“Kangli”, “we”) publishes and operates this website and is the controller of any personal data handled through it. We manufacture orthopaedic implants and surgical instruments for healthcare providers, distributors and OEM partners.

This notice covers this website only. Business, supply, distribution and regulatory dealings with Kangli are governed by their own signed agreements, which prevail over anything stated here.

Information on this site

The content of this website is provided for general information only. We take care to keep it accurate, but give no warranty — express or implied — as to its accuracy, completeness or currency. Product ranges, specifications, materials, dimensions and packaging may change without notice; photographs and illustrations are indicative and may not show a product’s current configuration.

Not medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical, surgical or clinical advice, and nothing here recommends a particular device for a particular case. Our products are intended for use by qualified healthcare professionals. Indications, contraindications, warnings, handling, sterilisation and surgical technique are governed exclusively by the Instructions for Use and surgical technique guide supplied with the product. Brochures, videos and articles published here are commercial and educational material; they do not replace those documents.

Product availability and regulatory status

Not every product shown is registered, cleared or available in every country, and regulatory status differs by market. Certifications referenced on this site apply to defined product scopes and specified facilities. Nothing here is an offer to supply a device in a jurisdiction where it is not registered. Please contact us to confirm the current status and availability for your market. Our certifications, and our current position on CE MDR, are set out on Quality & Certifications; nothing on this page adds to or qualifies what is stated there.

No offer, no contract

Capabilities, specifications, lead times and indicative pricing shown on this site, and any quotation request submitted through it, create no binding obligation on either side. A binding commitment arises only from a written order confirmation or a signed agreement.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, images, drawings, video, brochures, logos and marks — belongs to Kangli or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may view, download and print pages for your own professional evaluation. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification or commercial use requires our prior written consent.

Third-party links

Where we link to external sites, we do so for convenience only. We do not control them and accept no responsibility for their content, products or privacy practices.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kangli is not liable for any loss or damage — including indirect, incidental or consequential loss — arising from use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, or from its temporary unavailability. Nothing in this notice limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including product liability under applicable law.

Governing law

This notice and your use of the site are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections and data rights available to you locally.

Our approach to data

This site is delivered as static pages that run almost no JavaScript of our own. We set no cookies of our own, deploy no advertising or social-media pixels, and build no profile of you or your visit.

Two things do run in your browser, and neither tracks you. The quote list you build as you browse is held in your own browser’s local storage, on your device — we cannot see it, and it reaches us only if you choose to submit the enquiry form. The anti-spam check on that form is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile, described below. Both exist to deliver features you have asked for, rather than to observe you, so no consent banner is required. Beyond these we rely on only a small number of third-party services, also described below.

Analytics

We are introducing a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool to understand how the site is used in aggregate — for example, which pages are viewed and the general region from which visitors arrive. It does not collect personal data, fingerprint your device, or track you across other websites, and it produces only anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot be attributed to an individual. The provider is identified under Data processors below.

Forms and spam protection

When you submit a form, we receive the details you provide — such as your name, company, email address and message, together with any products you have added to your quote list — and use them solely to respond to your enquiry. Our content-delivery and security provider also processes standard request information, including your IP address, in order to deliver and protect the site.

Alongside what you type, we record two things we do not ask you for: the IP address the enquiry was sent from, and the approximate location our content-delivery provider derives from that address — typically a city, region and country. We use them for two purposes only: to help us tell a genuine enquiry from an automated one, and to sanity-check which market an enquiry comes from before we reply. They are stored with the enquiry and seen only by the colleagues who handle it.

Neither is ever shown or sent back to you, and neither is published anywhere on this site. A location derived from an IP address describes the connection rather than the person — a VPN, a company network or a mobile carrier will place an enquiry somewhere its sender is not — so we treat it as a rough indication and nothing more, and we never act on it as an address.

Our enquiry form is protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile. It loads a small script from Cloudflare when the quote page opens and, in most cases, completes on its own without asking anything of you.

To tell a person from a bot, Turnstile examines a limited set of technical signals from your browser. Cloudflare identifies these as your IP address, TLS fingerprint, User-Agent header, and the site key and its associated origin — and states that it does not have the ability to directly identify any individual from them, including from IP addresses. Cloudflare describes these signals as strictly necessary for detecting and blocking bots, and states that they are used solely for that purpose and to improve that detection over time.

For the check itself Cloudflare acts as our processor, on our instructions. For the work of improving its bot detection it acts as a controller in its own right, relying on its own legitimate interests. The full terms are set out in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum, which governs that processing. The account above is a summary of it, not a substitute for it.

In the course of delivering and protecting this site, Cloudflare may also set strictly necessary security cookies. These are used to distinguish automated traffic from real visitors; they are not advertising cookies and do not build an advertising profile.

Verification requires JavaScript. If you have it switched off, the form cannot be submitted — please email us at [email protected] instead.

Legal bases

For visitors in the EEA and UK, we handle enquiry details on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We record the enquiry’s originating IP address and derived location, run security and delivery logging, and run the anti-spam verification on our enquiry form, on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a safe website, keeping that form usable, and being able to judge whether an enquiry is genuine before we act on it. Where the law requires consent, we obtain it beforehand.

Data processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions:

  • Cloudflare — content delivery, site security, and the Turnstile anti-spam verification on our enquiry form.
  • Our email provider — to receive and reply to the enquiries you send us.

One further service is planned and not yet in use: Umami (the cookieless analytics described above). It processes no data today. We will update this notice before it goes live.

International transfers

As a China-based company serving customers worldwide, your data may be processed in China and other countries. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for those transfers.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request that we access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, or object to our processing of it, and you may withdraw any consent previously given. To make a request, please email [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with your local authority.

Children

This site is intended for healthcare professionals and business partners, not for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time as the site or our services change. Where a change is significant, we will indicate it on this page.
