The 2017 COA Congress brought orthopaedic experts, scholars, workers and doctors to Zhuhai on 15th, Nov. 2017. At the 12th International Congress of Chinese Orthopaedic Association, Kangli Medical Group presented its exhibition stand, orthopaedic products and instruments, and a conference programme focused on 3D printing and precise, personalised medical treatment.

2017 COA Congress: event overview

More than 600 orthopaedic experts and scholars, together with more than 20,000 orthopaedic workers and doctors from 41 countries and regions, attended the congress to discuss the latest techniques and research achievements in orthopaedics.

The congress was held in Zhuhai for the first time, providing the setting for Kangli’s exhibition and academic activities.

What did Kangli present at the 2017 COA Congress?

Kangli presented a new exhibition stand, its latest instruments and products, and opportunities for academic exchange. The programme included case and research presentations on the first day, followed by the Kangli Global Vision Conference on the second day.

Day 1: orthopaedic instruments, products and case studies

On the first day, Kangli Medical Group presented its latest instruments and products alongside invited academic speakers. Prof. Dong Xie Ping from Jiangxi People’s Hospital, Prof. Lu Sheng from Kunming General Hospital of Chengdu Military Area Command and Prof. Hua Jia from London University gave presentations on surgery cases and research achievements.

The exhibition provided an opportunity for experts from China and overseas to exchange ideas about orthopaedic products, research and industry development.

Day 2: 3D printing and personalised medical treatment

On the second day, the Kangli Global Vision Conference was held in a branch hall of the congress. With 3D printing and precise medical treatment as its topics, the conference featured Prof. Hua Jia from London University and Prof. Hao Yong Qiang from Shanghai No.9 People’s Hospital, who shared research achievements and discussed the direction of precise and personalised medical treatment.
