During the meeting, Kangli Orthopaedics' general manager Lu Jun spoke with a Deebest Tech executive. The discussion reached an agreement to develop further partnership in the manufacturing and distribution of orthopaedic implants and surgical instruments for customers from Thailand and other Asia-Pacific regions.

Kangli Orthopaedics manufactures orthopaedic implants and surgical instruments for distributors, hospital suppliers and brands. The company offers OEM, ODM and OBM services.

Founded in 2002, Kangli Orthopaedics has around 200 employees. Its campus covers about 50 acres, with roughly 40,000 square metres of floor area, and registered capital of about 102 million CNY.

Its manufacturing includes CNC machining with DMG 5-axis centres, Citizen Cincom Swiss-type automatic lathes, a DMG CTX beta 1250 TC turn-mill centre and Haas machining centres. An on-site vacuum heat-treatment furnace supports stress relief and annealing.

Kangli Orthopaedics also works with universities on research and development, including 3D printing and personalised implants. Its capabilities include 3D-printed bone models from patient imaging and customised titanium nets from CT, MRI and DSA data.

Quality systems held by Kangli Orthopaedics include ISO 13485, FDA, CE and GMP. The company sells in about 25 provincial regions of China and supplies 35 countries directly. Its products reach more than 40 countries once onward resale is counted.
