The 2019 China Industry-Academia-Research Award recognised a project on precision resection of bone tumors and personalized reconstruction of bone joints based on 3D printing technology. Suzhou Kangli Orthopaedics Instrument Co., Ltd. was a collaborating organisation in the project that received the First Prize of the 2019 China Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award.

Conference date and project record

On December 29, 2019, the 13th China Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Innovation Conference was held at the Beijing Conference Center. The award certificate identifies the project as “Key Technology Research and Application Promotion of Precision Resection of Bone Tumors and Personalized Reconstruction of Bone Joints Based on 3D Printing Technology” and records its First Prize recognition.

The association behind the conference

The China Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Promotion Association was established in November 2007. It promotes cross-sector, cross-regional, cross-industry and interdisciplinary collaboration across industry, academia, research, government, finance, media and other sectors, and serves as a platform for integrated resources and collaborative innovation services.

The association was approved by the State Council. Its supervisory unit is the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and it is a member of the China Association for Science and Technology. Its stated mission includes strengthening the integration of industry, academia and research and supporting collaborative innovation.
