Kangli Orthopaedics manufactures the CMF Orthognathic Plate Series from pure titanium for orthognathic fixation. Its sinuous design combines rounded lobes with narrow, curved bridges, creating a plate outline suited to changing maxillofacial segment contours. Side-specific configurations and multiple bridge lengths support selection for different spans created during jaw repositioning procedures.
Sinuous Plate Geometry for Jaw Segment Contours
Rounded lobes connected by curved bridges form a continuous fixation path that changes direction along the plate. This geometry follows segmented osteotomy layouts while maintaining a rounded transition between each section.
Rounded Screw Openings Along Curved Bridges
Circular openings are positioned within the lobes and separated by shaped bridge sections. The arrangement distributes screw positions along the planned fixation line while retaining the plate’s curved profile between openings.
Thin and Standard Profiles for Orthognathic Placement
Thin and standard material options allow the selected plate profile to correspond with the intended application. The thin configuration places less material between the plate and the contoured maxillofacial surface, while the curved bridge design avoids a straight, rectangular outline.
Left- and Right-Specific Plate Configurations
Left- and right-designated versions correspond to the planned fixation orientation. Their asymmetric outlines maintain the intended lobe sequence across the jaw and help distinguish the direction of the selected plate during procedure planning.
The Plates in This Series
Anatomic L Plate Orthognathic

A stepped row of round holes turns through a right angle, so the fixation line follows a segment around a corner instead of running straight across it. Supplied in left and right forms at the 0.8 mm thin thickness.
Oblique L Plate Orthognathic

A shorter arm branches away from the main hole row at an angle, splitting the fixation line where the osteotomy divides. Left and right forms, also 0.8 mm.
Double Curved Jaw Plate Orthognathic

An open central window sits inside four corner holes, and the plate curves in two directions rather than lying flat, so it meets the jaw surface along its whole length. 0.8 mm.
Straight Sagittal Split Plate Orthognathic

A flat bar with an evenly spaced hole row for sagittal split fixation, made at the 1.0 mm standard thickness rather than the thin profile.
Curved Sagittal Split Plate Orthognathic

The same sagittal split task on a shallow contoured bar, with paired holes at each end giving two points of purchase per side. 1.0 mm standard.
Orthognathic Fixation Applications
- Orthognathic osteotomy fixation
- Maxillary segment fixation
- Mandibular segment fixation
- Jaw repositioning fixation
The CMF Orthognathic Plate Series is distinct from the CMF Multifunction Plate Series, which includes a broader selection of craniofacial plates and mesh configurations.
