Overview

Kangli Orthopaedics manufactures this Pure Titanium plate for calcaneal fracture fixation in the hindfoot. Its curved, branched configuration follows separate calcaneal fixation zones through a narrow central waist. A hooked end and varied circular apertures continue along the irregular plate profile, creating a localized alternative to a straight rectangular calcaneal plate. It is supplied in left and right forms.

Branched Design for Calcaneal Screw Placement

The apertures are arranged across an upper branch and a descending lower branch rather than in a uniform grid. This layout provides screw locations along distinct regions of the calcaneus while the narrow waist separates the branches and limits unnecessary width between them.

Hooked End for Focused Hindfoot Coverage

A downward-curving hook extends from one end of the plate and contains its own aperture. The compact projection adds a fixation location at the end of the curved path without extending the implant in a straight line across the hindfoot.

Rounded Contours for Calcaneal Plate Positioning

Rounded lobes and smooth transitions connect the central body with the raised and descending branches. The plate remains broadly flat in profile, with a localized contour intended for the calcaneal fixation path and gradual changes where the branches meet.

Applications in Calcaneal Fracture Procedures

  • Calcaneal fracture plate fixation
  • Minimally invasive calcaneal fracture fixation
  • Calcaneal tuberosity fixation
  • Calcaneal process fixation

This combined plate can be considered alongside the Anatomical Calcaneal Locking Plate when the planned fixation requires a different calcaneal contour.
