Overview

Kangli Orthopaedics manufactures this pure titanium subcondylar locking plate for extended fixation along the distal humerus. Its broad, rounded distal end transitions into a narrow shaft with staggered circular openings and longitudinal slots, providing a plate configuration for subcondylar and adjoining distal-humeral fixation procedures.

Extended Plate Design for the Distal Humerus

The plate transitions from a broad distal section to a slender shaft aligned with the long axis of the humerus. This extended profile carries the fixation layout beyond the subcondylar region and along the adjoining shaft, allowing one plate design to span both areas.

Staggered Distal Openings for Screw Placement

A compact, staggered group of circular openings is positioned near the rounded distal end. The arrangement provides defined screw-placement positions across the wider portion of the plate before it narrows into the shaft.

Longitudinal Slots for Plate Positioning

Elongated oval slots extend along the shaft in the direction of its longitudinal axis. These openings allow positioning adjustments during plate placement before the selected screws are fully tightened.

Left and Right Configurations

Left- and right-sided versions are available to correspond with the intended side of the distal humerus. Selecting the matching configuration aligns the distal contour, shaft direction and opening layout with the relevant anatomy.

Applications in Subcondylar Fixation

  • Subcondylar fracture fixation
  • Distal humeral fracture fixation
  • Fixation of distal humeral fragments
  • Extended plate fixation along the distal humerus

Compared with the Distal Humeral Medial Locking Plate, this subcondylar configuration features a longer shaft and an extended profile intended for fixation extending from the subcondylar region along the distal humerus.
