Overview

Kangli Orthopaedics supplies this femoral neck locking plate as a proximal femoral locking compression plate assembly for orthopedic implant distributors and physicians specifying fixation components for the upper femur. The system is centred on a proximal femoral locking compression plate with a broad, rounded triangular head, a curved bridge, and a terminal tab, together with screws that engage through the plate openings. Recessed cross-shaped drives, parallel proximal screws, and large- or small-hole configurations define the available assembly options.

Rounded Triangular Plate Head and Curved Bridge

The plate expands into a rounded triangular head with clustered recessed openings before narrowing into the curved bridge. This layout positions the proximal screw seats within the enlarged head and connects them to the shaft-side portion of the construct.

Recessed Cross-Drive Screw Heads

Each screw has a recessed cross-shaped drive within its head. The drive interface remains below the surrounding screw surface, allowing engagement through the corresponding plate opening without a raised drive feature extending across the plate face.

Parallel Proximal Screw Arrangement

The longer screws positioned in the broad head follow substantially parallel paths. A shorter screw enters through the terminal tab, creating a separate screw position at the end of the curved extension.

Large- and Small-Hole Configurations

The proximal femoral locking compression plate is available in large-hole and small-hole configurations. These options provide different opening scales within the same component family for specification according to the intended proximal femoral fixation arrangement.

Femoral Neck and Proximal Femur Applications

  • Femoral neck fracture fixation
  • Proximal femoral locking compression plate fixation
  • Upper-femur fixation with parallel proximal screws
  • Side-plate fixation using the terminal tab

The Femoral Neck Locking Plate can be specified alongside the Proximal Femoral Locking Plate when a longer plate extending along the femoral shaft is required.
