Kangli Orthopaedics manufactures this pure titanium orbital floor reconstruction plate for craniomaxillofacial implant systems. Its contoured body is shaped around the bowl-like geometry of the orbital floor, while perforations across the plate provide access for fixation planning. A thin profile and dedicated left- and right-side designs support side-specific plate selection.
Contoured Geometry for Orbital Floor Reconstruction
The rounded central contour and tapered perimeter create a three-dimensional surface for the orbital floor region. This shaped geometry provides a defined plate outline during placement, reducing the need to form a flat sheet around the anatomy during reconstruction planning.
Perforated Design for Fixation Access
Curved rows of openings extend across the plate, connected by narrow structural ribs. This open lattice configuration provides multiple access points for screw placement across the selected reconstruction area while maintaining the plate’s overall contour.
0.6 mm Thin Titanium Profile
The plate is 0.6 mm thick across its curved body, which is what lets it sit beneath the thin tissue of the orbital region without standing proud of the floor it rebuilds. Its perforated construction also leaves fixation areas accessible without adding a solid plate surface across the full contour.
Left- and Right-Side Plate Options
Dedicated left and right forms correspond to the intended orbital side. Selecting the appropriate side-specific configuration helps preserve the orientation of the curved perimeter during surgical planning and placement.
CMF Reconstruction and Fixation Applications
The plate is intended for use in planning and fixation configurations involving:
- orbital floor reconstruction
- craniomaxillofacial trauma reconstruction
- perforated plate fixation across the orbital floor
- side-specific left or right orbital plate selection
The plate can be combined with Kangli Orthopaedics CMF Self-Drilling Self-Tapping Self-Holding Screws when a reconstruction plan calls for plate-and-screw fixation.
