Kangli Orthopaedics manufactures this pure titanium plate and screw assembly for posterior-column tibial plateau fixation. Its asymmetrical head transitions into a long, narrow shaft, combining a broad plateau-side section with a single-row extension along the posterior column. Recessed openings accommodate threaded screws at defined positions across the plate.
Asymmetrical Plate Head for Posterior Plateau Coverage
The enlarged head is wider and thicker than the shaft, with multiple circular recessed openings distributed across its proximal area. This configuration places the screw positions around the posterior plateau region before the plate narrows into the column-side extension.
Narrow Shaft with a Single Longitudinal Hole Row
A single row of openings runs along the shaft. Repeating shallow scallops follow the upper and lower plate edges around the openings, giving the shaft a defined profile as it extends along the posterior column. The narrower geometry maintains a clear distinction between the head and the elongated shaft.
Recessed Openings for Plate-Integrated Screw Heads
The circular openings are formed below the surrounding plate surface. When engaged, the screw heads sit within these recesses, while the screw shafts extend from the underside at the selected positions. This design presents a contained screw-to-plate interface across the head and shaft.
Threaded Screws for Locking Plate Assembly
The included screws feature closely spaced helical threads, tapered tips, and reflective shafts visible beneath the plate. Their threaded profiles correspond with the plate openings, while the pointed ends provide a defined leading section for placement through the assembly.
Posterior Column Tibial Plateau Fixation Configuration
- Posterior-column tibial plateau fixation
- Fixation around the posterior region of the tibial plateau
- Extension of fixation along the tibial column
- Screw placement through the shaft’s longitudinal row
The plate may be positioned alongside the Medial Column Tibial Plateau Locking Plate when the construct includes fixation pathways on both tibial columns.
