Overview

Kangli Orthopaedics manufactures this S-shaped clavicle locking plate for midshaft and distal clavicle fracture fixation. Made from pure titanium, it combines a shallow double curve, a low-stress profile, and locking screw openings that correspond to the changing contour of the clavicle. Left- and right-sided configurations support side-matched implant selection for clavicle fixation procedures.

Clavicle-Conforming Curved Profile

The plate body follows a shallow S-shaped path that changes direction along its length. This geometry corresponds to the clavicle’s changing contour across the midshaft and toward the distal segment, rather than using a straight plate with a concentrated central transition.

Locking Screw Plate Interface

Each circular opening is configured for locking screw engagement. The screw head interfaces with the plate opening to establish a defined plate-and-screw connection at each position. Together, the openings provide a structured screw layout along the clavicular shaft.

Gradual Double-Curve Geometry

The low-stress profile distributes the change in direction through a gradual double curve instead of a sharp bend at one location. The plate contour transitions progressively from one end to the other, creating a smooth implant profile over the clavicle.

Left- and Right-Sided Configurations

Separate left and right versions correspond to the orientation of the clavicle on each side. The side-specific design positions the curved body and terminal openings according to the selected clavicle, without requiring the plate to be reversed.

Fixation Applications Along the Clavicle

  • Midshaft clavicle fracture fixation
  • Distal clavicle fracture fixation
  • Locking plate fixation along the clavicular shaft

This curved plate provides an option alongside the Clavicular Hook Locking Plate when the fixation plan calls for a plate that follows the clavicle rather than extending beneath it.
