Kangli Orthopaedics manufactures the titanium alloy Blade Gamma Nail System for proximal femoral and intramedullary nailing procedures. The system combines a PFNA blade component, an enhanced main nail, and a selectable proximal nail end cap to support blade-based fixation constructs extending from the proximal femur through the intramedullary nail body.
PFNA Blade and Main Nail Components
The PFNA Blade Nail serves as the proximal blade component. It passes through the proximal femur toward the main nail and provides a dedicated blade-based engagement element for the proximal region of the construct.
The PFNA Enhanced Main Nail forms the elongated intramedullary body within the femoral canal. Its shaft links the proximal blade area with the remainder of the nail assembly and accommodates the longitudinal portion of the femoral fixation construct.

Proximal Femoral Nail End Cap Options
The Proximal Femoral Nail Locking End Cap closes the terminal end of the nail and provides a locking feature at that location. When selected, it leaves the nail end closed and locked after positioning of the main nail.
Nail Length and Side Configurations
Available nail lengths correspond to different spans through the femur. Right- and left-specific configurations identify the intended operative side, allowing distributors and physicians to select the appropriate proximal femoral nail configuration for the femur being treated.
Applications in Femoral Nailing Procedures
- Proximal femoral fracture fixation procedures
- PFNA gamma nailing procedures
- Proximal femoral nail assembly
- Intramedullary fixation through the femur
The Blade Gamma Nail System is listed alongside the Sliding Compression Gamma Nail System, a separate gamma nail option within the broader femoral and hip implant catalogue.
