Overview

Kangli Orthopaedics supplies this titanium alloy cannulated headless compression screw for foot and ankle fixation procedures. Its headless design, near-full-length threading, and central cannulation support guidewire-based placement and compression-oriented screw fixation where a low-profile construct is selected.

Low-Profile Headless Screw Design

The screw transitions directly into its threaded body without a broad external head. Once seated, this geometry presents a low external profile at the fixation site and provides an alternative to the conventional Cannulated Compression Screw format.

Near-Full-Length Thread Engagement

Threading extends along nearly the full working shaft instead of being limited to a short distal section. This configuration provides a continuous threaded interface along the prepared fixation path as the screw is advanced.

Cannulated Placement Over a Guidewire

A central cannulation extends through the screw axis and accommodates a guidewire or compatible placement aid. The screw can then be advanced along the established trajectory during foot or ankle fixation.

Recessed Driver Interface

The recessed drive is positioned at the terminal end of the screw for connection with the insertion driver. This interface allows rotational force to be applied from the screw end while maintaining the headless configuration.

Applications in Foot and Ankle Fixation

  • Compression screw fixation in foot procedures
  • Headless screw placement where a low external profile is specified
  • Cannulated insertion over a guidewire
  • Ankle-region fixation with a near-full-length threaded screw

This screw complements the Cannulated Compression Screw within the Kangli Orthopaedics foot and ankle fixation range. Its headless, cannulated, full-thread format can be considered when the selected construct does not call for a broad screw head.
