Overview

Kangli Orthopaedics manufactures this pure titanium locking plate for fixation around the glenoid region of the scapula. Its lobed body, rounded peripheral extensions, circular locking apertures and elongated central slot form a plate configuration shaped for the irregular glenoid contour. The layout supports fixation planning around the glenoid center and surrounding rim. It is supplied in left and right forms.

Lobed Plate Geometry for Glenoid Coverage

The broad central body transitions into rounded extensions that follow the surrounding glenoid area. This configuration places fixation openings around the plate perimeter rather than along a narrow central line, helping accommodate the changing contours of the glenoid region.

Elongated Slot for Plate Positioning

An elongated, rounded slot is positioned within the main body. It allows longitudinal adjustment during placement so the plate position can be refined before screws are placed through the surrounding locking apertures.

Circular Locking Apertures for Screw Placement

Circular locking apertures are distributed across the central body and outer extensions. Their arrangement follows the lobed outline, creating screw-entry locations around the changing perimeter of the plate.

Rounded and Beveled Plate Edges

The beveled perimeter follows the implant’s irregular outline and creates a gradual transition from the plate edge to its surface. Rounded borders around the apertures maintain the compact profile without sharp external corners.

Glenoid and Scapular Fixation Uses

  • Glenoid fracture fixation
  • Glenoid rim fracture fixation
  • Scapular neck fracture fixation adjacent to the glenoid

This glenoid fixation plate belongs to the same scapular fixation category as the Medial Border Scapular Locking Plate, which is configured for placement along the medial border.
