Iliopubic Junction Plate
Specification
- Material
- Pure Titanium
- Holes
- 13
Kangli Orthopaedics manufactures the Iliopubic Junction Plate from pure titanium for fixation along the iliopubic junction. Its segmented, sinuous profile follows the changing direction of the pelvic region, with a broad central section forming a continuous bridge between the inner apertures. Beveled openings, rounded lobes, and gradually curved ends create a shaped plate for pelvic fixation procedures.
Contoured Geometry for Iliopubic Junction Fixation
The plate transitions from a narrower upper-left end into a wider central span before tapering toward the rounded lower-right end. This gradual, segmented curve provides a shaped fixation line for placement across the iliopubic junction rather than using a straight plate profile.
Broad Central Bridge and Rounded Plate Edges
A continuous section of plate material extends between the inner apertures. Along the perimeter, repeated rounded lobes and shallow recesses create a smooth transition around each opening while preserving the broad central bridge between screw sites.
Beveled Openings for Screw Placement
The apertures feature beveled or countersunk rims with recessed inner walls. This configuration provides a defined entry point for fixation screws and creates a gradual transition through the plate thickness.
Pelvic Fixation Applications
- fixation at the anterior iliopubic junction
- contoured plate placement along the pelvic transition
- screw placement from the curved end through the central span
- positioning along the changing path of the iliopubic region
For procedures requiring a pubic symphysis construct instead of an iliopubic bridge, the plate can be reviewed alongside the Pubic Plate Series.
