Kangli Orthopaedics manufactures this pure titanium locking plate for fixation along the radial column of the distal radius. Its narrow, gently curved body features scalloped lateral edges, a linear series of lobed apertures, and a rounded central slot. The focused profile follows the radial column while retaining an opening for plate positioning.
Distal Radius Plate Design for Radial Column Placement
The plate has a narrow curved profile with tapered, rounded ends and a wider central section. This geometry positions the implant along the radial column and creates a continuous fixation path from the end apertures to the central region.
Linear Locking Apertures for Longitudinal Fixation
Lobed apertures extend through the middle of the plate, separated by slim bridges and bordered by scalloped concave edges. Their linear arrangement places compatible locking screw sites along the length of the radial column rather than concentrating them at one broad end of the plate.
Central Slot for Plate Positioning
An elongated horizontal slot is located within the central aperture sequence. It allows short-range adjustment along the plate axis during positioning before the slot is fixed and the remaining locking holes are used for longitudinal fixation.
Radial Column Fixation Applications
- Radial-column distal radius fracture fixation
- Fixation of radial-sided fragments
- Longitudinal plate positioning along the distal radius
- Locking screw placement through the linear aperture pattern
This radial-column configuration can be considered alongside the Intermediate Column Distal Radial Locking Plate when the planned fixation line follows a different distal radial column.
